The Hybrid Materials Laboratory of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Technology (MEMTi) is organizing the International Summer School on Computational Design for Additive Manufacturing, an international educational initiative dedicated to advanced computational design, with a focus on field-driven design, additive manufacturing, and advanced ceramics.

The event, organised within the framework of SMART-ME, an Interreg VI-A Italy-Switzerland 2021-2027 project, and hosted by the Institute of Systems and Applied Electronics (ISEA), will focus on the development of innovative mechatronic systems based on Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs) and their industrial applications in the manufacturing, medtech and aerospace sectors.
